9-to-Thrive started with 11 subscribers and zero revenue. Fifteen months later, it's a twice-weekly newsletter reaching 9,500+ creators building portfolio businesses with multiple revenue streams — and the anchor of a six-income-stream business that Carrie built and runs solo.
That's the story readers come for, and it's why they trust what's in the newsletter. The audience grows by hundreds every month, and they consistently invest in tools, courses, and services that move their businesses forward — because the whole publication is about doing exactly that.
This is the right fit for brands targeting creators, coaches, and consultants who are actively building multiple income streams. Doers who take action and buy solutions, not dreamers collecting bookmarks.
9-to-Thrive's audience opens, clicks, and acts. These are the numbers that decide whether a
placement performs.

These readers are building businesses right now. They evaluate and purchase tools, courses, and services every week. Your brand reaches them mid-decision, not mid-scroll.
Every sponsorship is written first-person, from the perspective of someone who has used the product. It reads like a recommendation from a trusted peer, because that's what it is.
A 32% open rate on a twice-weekly send means your message lands in front of an audience that shows up. No bought lists, no dead weight — just readers who chose to be here.
Every placement is created by Carrie and written in her voice. Mix and match to fit your
campaign.
A 30-minute live interview with your company representative — and the placement that keeps working long after it airs. One booking becomes four evergreen assets: a Substack Live with audience Q&A, an episode of the Creator Cash Flow Show podcast (syndicated to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more), a video on the 9-to-Thrive YouTube channel, and a permanent replay on the publication home. Includes post-live promotion via Notes and email, and the full recording for your own use. Bundle with a Sponsored Newsletter for $1,200 (a $800 saving).
A full Substack issue dedicated to your product — 800–1,200 words. Carrie uses the product and writes about it in first person, as a creator recommending a tool she trusts. This is a host-read endorsement, not an ad slot: it carries the weight of her voice with an audience that buys what she recommends. Permanent placement on the publication home.
A featured section inside a regular issue — up to 350 words of host-written copy where Carrie promotes your product based on her own experience using it. The credibility of a dedicated issue, embedded in content readers already opened.
Premium above-the-fold placement in the newsletter and email. A 150-word sponsored content block with your logo and a CTA button linking to your landing page. First thing every reader sees.
A text-only ad with a link, placed at the bottom of the newsletter. The most cost-effective way to put your offer in front of an engaged audience.
A full month of visibility across all 8 issues (twice-weekly). Top-of-page placement in every send — 150-word block, logo, and CTA button each time — plus a community chat callout with link. Sustained presence that compounds: readers see your brand eight times in four weeks, the repetition that turns awareness into action.
Every placement is written and produced by Carrie in her own voice. Custom packages, multi-issue campaigns, and bundle pricing are welcome — just ask.
A travel-tech affiliate platform that matched the newsletter's creator and side-income audience — readers actively looking for new revenue streams to add to their portfolio.
A no-code tool for building quizzes, calculators, and funnels — a natural fit for an audience of newsletter writers and creators building lead-generation systems.
Sponsorship works best when both sides know exactly what to expect. Here's how a placement
comes together — and what's included.
You share your product, your goal, and your preferred placement. Carrie confirms it's a fit for the audience and checks availability.
You lock an issue date with payment in full. You send the briefing document and editorial direction so Carrie can prepare.
Carrie produces the placement in her voice. You get one review round to confirm accuracy before it ships.
Your placement publishes to the full audience on the agreed date, with any promised promotion and replays.
A briefing document covering your product, key messages, and campaign goals.
Editorial direction — the angle, focus, and any must-include points.
For ad placements: all creative, copy, images, logos, and video assets, sized and ready to use.
A tracking link with UTM parameters for any placement you want to measure.
All assets and the brief delivered at least 5 business days before the publish date.
For sponsored issues and sections: original copy written in her first-person creator voice.
Placement on the agreed date, in the agreed format and position.
One review round before publishing, for factual accuracy and brand-safety corrections.
Permanent placement on the 9-to-Thrive publication, with the long-tail reach that brings.
Any promotion or replays specified in your chosen package.
Word counts are fixed. Each placement has a defined length (listed in the rate card). Additional length is a custom quote
One review round. The review is for accuracy and brand safety — not a full rewrite. A second round or a structural rewrite after approval is billed at a revision fee, agreed before work continues.
Carrie's voice stays Carrie's. Sponsored issues and sections are written by Carrie. Sponsors set the direction and key points; final wording is hers, so the placement reads as a genuine recommendation. Pre-written copy can be used only in ad placements (Top of Page, Classified).
Deadlines protect your date. If the brief or assets arrive later than 5 business days before publishing, the date may move to the next available slot.
Your placement keeps working. Sponsored issues and sections stay published permanently on the 9-to-Thrive Substack — they continue drawing readers from search and the archive long after the original send. Carrie may add a dated "sponsored" note to older posts over time for transparency.
Performance tracking is sponsor-side. Carrie shares audience metrics before booking. Click and conversion tracking is handled through the sponsor's own UTM link — the standard, most accurate way to measure a campaign. Post-campaign performance reporting is not included.
Payment. Placements are paid in full at booking to reserve the date. Dates are confirmed once payment clears.
Editorial discretion & fit. Carrie only promotes products that fit her audience. She reserves the right to decline a placement that isn't the right fit, with a full refund.
Cancellations. Sponsors are expected to review the newsletter and confirm audience fit before booking. Cancellations 14+ days before the publish date receive a 50% refund. Inside 14 days, the fee is non-refundable, as the slot is held and work is underway.
Before you book, take a careful look at the newsletter and make sure it's the right fit for your brand. Strong alignment is what makes a sponsorship work — for you and for these readers.
Confident it's a fit? Tell Carrie what you're promoting and what a winv looks like — she'll recommend the placement for your goal and budget.
